Ready When the Time Comes

Ready When the Time Comes
Ready When the Time Comes is a new disaster preparedness program that enables the American Red Cross to recruit and train volunteers from local companies so they can be mobilized quickly, in the event of a large-scale, local disaster. Program volunteers receive free, specialized training in critical disaster response, such as shelter operations, mass care, community response center, and damage assessment. In the event of a disaster in the Kansas City area, your local Red Cross will be able to count on its Ready When the Time Comes corporate partners to support its local efforts.
