Give Blood. Get Music!

Give Blood. Get Music!

(Kansas City, Mo.)—Every two seconds someone in America needs blood, and blood donations tend to decline during the summer months. In an effort to reach high school and college-age donors, the American Red Cross has partnered with the Vans Warped Tour for the “Music Saves Lives” blood drive promotion.

The Kansas City Red Cross will host 10 “Music Saves Lives” blood drives throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area during June and July (please see complete listing below). At these drives, all presenting donors will receive a VIP Access Pass to the Vans Warped Tour in Kansas City on August 15. This special pass does not include concert admission, which must be purchased, but will allow donors access to special VIP areas, including backstage.

In addition, each presenting donor will receive a limited edition compilation CD featuring bands such as Head Automatic, Jack’s Mannequin, Liam and Me, Mae, and Run Doris Run.
