American Red Cross Shelter Opening at Eastgate Middle School

Chapter provides shelter and comfort to people affected by recent explosions for a second night
(Kansas City, MO)—In response to the subsequent explosions today at ChemCentral, the Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Red Cross is scheduled to open a shelter at Eastgate Middle School, located at 4700 NE Parvin Road in Kansas City, MO, for residents of the affected area. The shelter will be open for registration at 6:00 p.m.

Anyone in need of a place to stay as a result of the explosions is encouraged to contact the Chapter directly at (816) 931-8400.
