Red Cross blood drive lets NASCAR fans get into the races in new ways
KNOB NOSTER, Mo. — The Knob Noster Fire Department is hosting a
Red Cross Racing
blood drive Thursday, Aug. 7, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited to donate the gift of life, get a limited edition NASCAR lanyard, earn points to exchange for
Red Cross Racing
gear at www.redcrossracing.com and enter to win NASCAR prizes.

Why is giving blood important?
Because the need is great and the gratification is instant! One blood donation can help save up to three lives, yet only three percent of the population donates blood. In addition, the summer is normally a time when blood supplies are low.
