Before You StartInstructor Credentials
Red Cross instructors are experienced educators who continually update and perfect their skills through continuing education. New instructors work under a veteran instructor until they are ready to teach their own class. Our class size is limited to give you the opportunity for individual attention.
Cancellations
Please call the Red Cross at least 48 hours before the first day of class to arrange for a transfer or a refund if you must cancel. Fees are non-refundable if you do not notify the Red Cross or attend the class.
The Red Cross may cancel a class if less than six people are enrolled. If your class is cancelled and you are unable to transfer to another class session, the class fee will be returned to you in full.
What To Wear
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for practice sessions, many of which are on the floor. Water Safety students need to bring a swimsuit and towel.
Books And Supplies
All books and materials you will need are furnished and are included in the class fee. The books are yours to keep and serve as helpful reference guides. You may want to bring paper and a pencil or pen to take notes.
Class Location
The Red Cross teaches classes at two locations - the Midtown Branch or the Cass County Branch. |
