After the earthquake struck Haiti on Jan. 12, the Kansas City community demonstrated an outpouring of support. The Greater Kansas City Chapter of the American Red Cross has received donations in all sizes, from loose change to large checks, and all are very much appreciated.
Because of the overwhelming amount of support, the Chapter cannot list every donor at this time, but would like to recognize those individuals and businesses that donated $1,000 or more as of April 12, 2010.
Please note, some lag time exists between donations and web site postings. Also, the Greater Kansas City Chapter does not have access to donors who gave directly to the national organization.
